A new face in Andreja Slokar’s team this year is Italian Stefano Costazza. He is an expert with more than 20 years of experience in alpine skiing and brings to the coaching staff his deep knowledge, particularly in the area of giant slalom.

Andreja Slokar sets out with a new coach in pursuit of her Olympic dream.

Andreja Slokar will enter the Olympic season with a revamped coaching team. The new coach is Stefano Costazza, while Timotej Kostrevc and Luca Valenti remain on the team, along with Andrea Massi, who will serve as the fitness coach for Slovenia’s top slalom skier.

Slovenian alpine skier Andreja Slokar presented her plans for the 2025/2026 season at a press conference in Ajdovščina. She will be working with a new head coach, Italian Stefano Costazzo. The team also includes Andrea Massi as fitness coach and coordinator, physiotherapist Timotej Kostrevc, and technician Luca Valenti.

Double Swiss victory in the women’s slalom, Slokar finishes sixth.

Swiss skier Camille Rast is the winner of the women’s slalom at the World Championships in Saalbach. Her compatriot Wendy Holdener finished second, while the local favorite Katharina Liensberger came in third. Andreja Slokar secured sixth place, the same position she held after the first run. Ana Bucik Jogan finished 18th.
